The Goecha La trek is a challenging 9-11-day trek in Sikkim, India that offers spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan peaks.. It is located in Kanchenjunga National Park and involves trekking through forests, meadows, and past glacial lakes, with the highest point being the Goecha La pass at approximately 4,940 m (16,207 ft). The trek is physically strenuous and suitable for experienced trekkers. It provides close-up views of the world’s third-highest mountain, Mount Kanchenjunga, along with other peaks like Mount Pandim and Mount Kabru.

The starting point is Yuksom, which is about a 5-6-hour drive from the nearest airport, Bagdogra. You will trek through diverse terrains, including dense forests, high altitude meadows like Dzongri and Thansing. And see glacial lakes like Samity. Witnessing the sunrise illuminate Kanchenjunga from a vantage point is a major highlight of this trek.

Day2: Trek from Yuksom to Sachen (7300Ft /8km)

Day3 : Trek from Sachen to Tshoka (9800Ft) via Bakhim (8700Ft / 7km)

Day4: Trek from Tshoka to Dzomgri (13100Ft ) via Phedang( 12100Ft/8km)

Day 5: Acclimatisation Day at Dzongri

Day 6: Trek from Dzongri to Thansing (13000Ft) via Kokchhurung (12100Ft /10km)

Day 7: Trek from Thansing to Lamuney (13600Ft /5km)

Day8: Trek from Lamuney to Goechala (15100Ft)  via  Samiti Lake (14200Ft) & back to Kokchhurung (15km)

Cancelled between 8-14 days of the actual journey –25% of the total trek package cost remains non-refundable, the remaining is issued as a future credit valid for 1 year

0-7 Days Prior: 50% is non-refundable, rest 50% as a future credit of the total package amount. (This applies to clients paying the full amount within the due date)

Non-appearance on the trek starting day: No refund.
