Roop Kund trek is a popular high-altitude, moderate to difficult trek in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. The trek passes through beautiful alpine meadows such as Ali and Bedni Bugyal. The trek offers stunning views of peaks like Trishul and Chaukhamba. The trek includes both uphill and downhill sections, sometimes with steep and slippery routes. The Mystery Lake, also known as Skeleton Lake, is named for the numerous human skeletons found at its bottom when the snow melts. This is why the trek is also known as the ‘Skeleton Lake Trek’ and is regarded as one of India’s most intriguing and adventurous high-altitude treks. The trek to the lake is known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking mountain scenery, passing through oak and rhododendron forests and alpine meadows. The trek is a combination of natural beauty, adventure and historical mystery.

Day2:Trek from Lohajung to Didna Village (8045Ft /7km)

Day3:Trek from Didna Village to Ali Bugiyal (11320Ft / 11km)

Day4:Trek from Ali Bugiyal to Patar Nachauni (12818Ft / 7km) via Bedni Bugiyal (12550Ft )

Day5:Trek from Patar Nachunai to Bhagwabasa (14117Ft / 5km) via Kalu Vinayak  (14360Ft )

Day6:Trek from Bhagwabasa to RoopKund (15755 Ft ) & back to Patar Nachunai  (10km)

Day7: Trek from Patar Nachauni to  Wan (15km) & drive to Lohajung (15km)

Day8: Drive from LohaJung to Kathgodam (210km)

Note: This applies to those who have paid 50% of the trek cost 30 days before the DOJ. In all other scenarios, the initial booking fees of INR 3000 remain non-refundable.

Cancelled between 14-20 Days before Journey -10% of the total amount remains as non- refundable, Booking fees of INR3000  apply as a future credit, rest is refunded to the client.

Cancelled between 8-14 days of the actual journey –25% of the total trek package cost remains non-refundable, the remaining will be issued a future credit valid for 1 year

0-7 Days Prior: 50% is non-refundable, rest 50% as a future credit of the total package amount. (This applies to clients paying the full amount within the due date)

Non-appearance on the trek starting day: No refund.
